Boxing Sweat Suits

Hello some advice needed here.
My missus is fat and wants to lose some weight. She does these silly exercise videos on the telly...Davina, Jade etc which is just dancing with some flimsy pink weights. But i was reading before in Boxing News about Boxing sweat suits, i think the advert i am referring to had Lee Haskins in the picture. I recall they were priced around £30.
Anyone use these or know if they are any good for wearing when doing Boxercise or these exercise videos? And where is the best place to buy them from. Some fella on Ebay had them for a tenner and there were some Everlast ones for £25 with postage.

Sweatsuits as suggested by their name just help you dehydrate. Which is perfect if the wife has to make weight on a particular day but not if she's looking for sustainable weight loss.
I've read that training while overheating yourself is brings on fatigue sooner for the same amount of energy expended so you end up training for a shorter time.
Get the wife skipping then, take her on the pads.

Those would have to be some big pads to do as you suggest, certainly as Steve is suggesting she's rather a well built lass.

Thanks for the advice to everyone who posted replies. She used to skip when she was about 12 she reckons but i'm skeptical, maybe skipping meals would be a better start.
She won't be looking to make weight anytime soon either although with some intense sweat suit training i reckon she could slim down to the new Cruiserweight limit.
She put on about 4.5 stone in 18 months and refuses to do Boxercise as she claims it made her knackered even when she wasn't James Toney-esque. It's a tough predicament we have here fellas :P

For simple things like running or stepping (basically basic ambulatory aerobics) the £4 TK Maxx stuff should suit. I found the Bally's one better than the SunFitness number, even though at the end of the day they are both ultimately cheap shite, and will rip under pretty moderate stress. If it's durability, strength, comfort, 'look' (pushing it here, lol), look no further:
It's pricey, but it all depends what you want out of it. The cheap stuff can rip a few minutes into one session depending what you do. And what you're
doing should always be paramount; they
will accelerate great results, but in themselves they're only means to an end... Be careful.

Diet would probably be the best bet. Especially if she doesn't want to do much training.
If no diet then enjoy the fun bags.

Start reading nuts, zoo, and any other mens mag full of titties on a regular basis, make loud, corrr! noises whenever you see a fit bird on TV or even on the street, and mention that you've always been curious about open relationships and whether they would work or not, whilst also getting into lifting weights and heading to the tanning salon, and watch those pounds simply melt away.
At the least she'll get some exercise belting the shit out of you!

see if you can get her to go spinning, she'll lose the weight in no time
or I lost 3 stone is under 6 months by eatting loads of grilled chicken and roasted veg and walking everywhere. also by playing loads of football so that might be good for a laugh
or give her undercooked chicken and watch her shit and throw up the weight away

I have seen the likes of Calzaghe, Hatton, Arthur train in sweatsuits so if its good enough for them I'm sure it will be good for your missus!

Exercise and no more than 1,500 calories a day and she'll see the weight off over 4 months or so... My lady followed that plan, worked a treat...
I suppose you could buy her a sweatsuit, see if she gets the hint but I feel you'd have an unscheduled bout if you did that!

Thanks for all the kind words. My problem is she buys endless weight watchers magazines, healthy living, you are what you eat and goes on GI diets and rosemary connelly and all this crap but she thinks just reading the stuff and collecting points is enough.
Recently she was in Easons looking at books advocating the traffic light diet whatever that is, at which point i finally snapped! Ripping the book from her sausage fingers and put it back on the shelf. "Less junk food and more exercise" i growled in front of a stunned onlooker.
She is now back at her mums and i haven't seen her for 3 days. As blissful as this seems i thought the sweat suit may be a good (if somewhat tactless) reconciliation present.

I can reccomend an excellent web site that I used before to shift a few pounds, just helps you keep track of how many calories you are taking in and how many your are expending, and tells you how many you should take in a day based on how much exercise you do, age, etc.
http://www.calorie-count.com
Worked for me, I managed to get from 14 stone 8 to 13 stone 10 in under 3 weeks before I went on holiday! Still look like shit mind as I've not been doing much exercise lately.

Well to be frank the best thing to do would be to sow up her mouth - leaving enough room for a straw which she can use to drink water and soup.
THe weight will soon fly off....
THis technique also has the added benefit of her not being able to talk which means she can't nag you and you will get a few weeks' peace....
2 birds killed with one stone....
