Anthony Smalls trains at our gym - Cityboxer, so a few of us are going up there to support.

Hoping for a good night as it's a long way to go for a couple of hours entertainment.

Sounds like Small is in tough tonight. Graham Houston reckons Small could be the real deal if he beats this guy, as it's a big step up for him.

Anthony can hit it seems, but you hear questions about his chin for some reason...plus he hangs it out to dry at times too. Could find out tonight how good it is.

But Wright got turned over in his debut, while showboating apparently..might have learned his lesson, and maybe Small has yet to learn.

Hope he turns in a dynamite performance - he'll be a big hit on the series if he does.

I was in the gym when Small sparring Wayne Alexander and he got clipped with one good hook which got his attention but other than that his absolutely boxed rings around him.

Don't know if i should really be telling this but directly afterwards a thoroughly dejected Wayne said that was it he wanted to retire next thing i hear he withdraws with an 'injury'...

Wayne is normally honest with me and he said he has torn ligaments in his wrist when we spoke last...
