Luevano v Cook Clash Planned

WBO #1 featherweight Steven Luevano (32-1, 14 KOs) and undefeated #2 ranked Nicky "Cookie" Cook (27-0, 15 KOs) will collide for the vacant WBO featherweight title. Top Rank is currently in the process of setting a date and securing a venue, but the bout has been mandated by the WBO to take place no later than June 2007. Luevano and Cook will be fighting for the belt formerly held by Juan Manuel Marquez, who recently won the WBC super featherweight belt against Marco Antonio Barrera.
