Having put up a thread about the calzaghe fight betting it brought me to remember i have only ever predicted one correct round.
Lennox Lewis v Derek Williams round 3 for Lewis. i cant remember the price but i think it was around 6/1. any way i won a few quid.
Has anyone one else won much on a fight.

i know a lot of guys on here won pretty big on calzaghe W12 Salem....
i think it was 7-1 and Riddick Blowe gave us the hot tip!!!
I am not a big better but also got similar odds on Witter versus the italian he stopped in two!!

I bet 20 quid on Amir Kahn to Vitali Martynov in the 1st seem as though Martynov had been knocked out by a non puncher in the 1st already.....thats was 6-1

I had a fiver on Benn to beat McClellan in the 10th at 50-1, Ladbrokes told me when I collected, I was the only person that had placed that bet with them (I had also bet larger sums on McClellan to win in 1,2 and 3).
Have won much larger sums than that, but thats the best odds I've collected.

My biggest win was £25 on 25-1 on a draw between taylor and wright...
And had also put (admittedly only £2) on a Draw / Virchis win over Vidoz.
I think the pay off was £96 for the £2 bet...
I do make money every year (not a lot, but enough to buy a nice TV) - biggest loss wa £200 on Brudov to beat Hill.....(put on when drunk.)

Don't bet but if you do Hills are going
11/2 round 1
11/2 round 2
15/2 round 3
for Macca to to beat Gunn in those rounds,

right guys lets get down to business.
i think i'm gonna put a ton on enzo in rd 1 on hills
gunn looks to have the perfect record for a one round demise, only wins vs 0-6-2 guys, seemingly grounded to one area on small shows, clubfighter etc.
is there anything about this guys fight history that suggests he can get out of that first round, or more worryingly WILL ENZO HOLD BACK FOR ANY REASON?
oh and the best bet i made in terms of odds was johnson TKO9 Jones at 100/1, put a quid on 7, 8, 9 and 10 and was kicking myself for not putting on more afterwards as I really thought glen would stop him late.

its got to be worth £500 on enzo to win in first 3 rounds !!

I'm going to have a few quid on Gunn knocking Enzo out.
Not necessarily because I think it will happen but can you imagine how many times you could bring the story up if it did?

Just put my 100 on enzo ko1, but as everything is in french on there i got confused and refreshed the page; now found out ive put 200 on... I dont really want to put 200 on but i cant reverse it can i? help

now im starting to think this could be the best misclick i ever made... TO REVERSE? OR NO? i can afford to lose it but i dont know if the chance of ko& justifies the extra hundred

I think it's well worth a punt to put something on Enzo to win in the first couple rounds...

MOTHERFUCKERS I JUST PUT 200 QUID ON ENZO RD 1 fornicate ME I CANT REVERSE IT
if i can reverse this it will seem like i gained a hundred rather than lost it? making the initial bet a great one!

Call them and see if you can reverse, if not they might let you put the other 100 on round 2?
Could be a good bet...but let's hope Enzo doesn't decided to "showcase his skills" for a few rounds...

I reckon old Gunn is gonna come out all guns blazing for this one giving Enzo no choice but to knock him out as soon as possible.
Got my money on a first round KO will a little bit on 2 to cover myself. Come on Enzo don't let us down.
Also agree with Ian about going for the underdog. I like to point out I picked Sanders to beat Wlad and Forrest to beat Mosley (not with the bookies though) and not mention the amount of times my underdog has gone down without a fight...

I m not sure if i want to reverse it now. Greed has taken over.
This is a pickle.
i wanted to cover it with a hedge on rd 2 as well but thats gonna cost me 40 quid now.
incidentally, my bet has actually made my post in this thread relevant

I like Enzo, but because this is such a cynical mismatch, part of me wouldn't mind seeing Gunn get lucky and chin Enzo, just to see what colour Frank's face turns ringside

Picked Williams to beat Tyson at 11-1, with a tenner on, and missed out on the correct round by one round as I went for round 3 instead of 4, , at 100-1 with a fiver on. Could have been a great day for me but for the sake of one round of boxing.

I had a fiver on Jesper Parnevik to win the 1997 british open at 50/1 - Justin Leonard pipped him over the last 3 holes.
Had a few national winners - £20 on a couple at 16/1.
Dont often go on boxing bets, but will look up early rounds KOs for Enzo on sat nite

Is it just Hill's that are doing odds for Enzo or are Ladbrokes doing them also..? (UK)

£10 on Williams to beat Tyson at 6/1
£10 on Hatton to stop Tszyu at 5/1
so I've not exactly got the bookies shitting themselves

to see FW spontaneously combust more like lol, his head would probably just go POP!
My da had money on Audley KO3 Williams, think it was 12/1 but not sure. As anyone who looks at the PTBF will guess i have no joy betting on boxing, I am more succesful on the dogs and the mighty hammers (for some reason i manage to back our wins pretty well, i had 8-1 1-0 vs Arsenal, 22-1 1-0 vs Man U and NRC scoring first, and the other day got 7-1 2-0 vs Boro) Ive lost money this season, but i have a cunning plan for next year which should see me absolutely COIN it in, i will let you know if it works lol
