Which John?

Great news for the both of them and I hope they can get decentish opponents to give them a chance to impress, any ideas?

Was hoping Mick could get Witter on there though

As our Tel is a manc I would imagine it will be Murray he talks to..

O'Donnel could make a splash if he plays up his Irish heritage - those Yanks love nothing more then an Irishman who can fight!

Mick and his boys are getting better fights with better coverage and not a WBU title in sight!

Yes indeed, despite the ribbing that has been received by certain other promoters who shall remain nameless, allegedly, things are looking up for Hennessy whether he has a promoters license or not.

If you look at the fights secured for their fighters over the last couple of years, it's pretty impressive, Froch is surely not far from a title shot either if he continues, Eastman may yet get another, and now these lads are getting on the bill of a massive card like this.

Are their bouts going to be a part of the televised bill I wonder?

His fighters get good, competetive fights for real titles on decent quality bills. I'm not a Hennessy lover but i admire his attitude. Fake titles, mismatches and dire bills are all pet hates of mine. If his fighters are found wanting it's usually for a British/European crown, if you don't try you don't know how good you are.

I could sit behind a WBU Intercontinental Americas belt and lap up poor opposition all year as well.

Cheers Terrence, assumed you meant Murray

Got to hand it to Hennesey, he's had a few of his early hopes bomb but always gives us good fights on his bills, matches his prospects up very competitively and now, with Froch and co, should really start seeing some reward. And as has been said not a phoney world title fight in sight

When these Super-Fights take place ,
most promoters just have a crap under-card that nobody remembers.
Great to see that two prospects like O'Donnell and Murray are being showcased. I think O'Donnell can be a really big star and Murray can have some great fights that can make him. Good work Hennessy and GoldenBoy!!!
