Who was the first fighter to send Armstrong to the Hospital?

It was a skinny kid from Chicago's west by the name of Davey Day in their 1939 Wel. Title bout. Armstrong suffered a broken knuckle on his left hand, a deep incision to his left eye, cuts in his mouth, and chip off the finger next to the thumb of his right hand, who was sent the the Hospital. Davey was banged up but didn't suffer any cuts. The fite was stopped in the 12th giving Hank a TKO. Henry would never fight Davey again, even when it was promised. The NBA asked Hank to defend his Title again after Davey stopped Pedro Montanez the 1 wel. contender, this fight was to determine Henry's next opponent, Hank passed on Davey and a few months later fought Montanez, who he beat. Davey would say " I softened this guy up for him, he should be fighting me"
