Read on SKY Sports News mobile that Graham Earl has said he'll happily take Khan on if Amir is so confident of whipping all the highly ranked British lightweights...
Earl said that he'd happily teach Khan a lesson in what the top level is like.
Anybody able to shed further light on this...
(I didn't read it on the net so can't post a link)

I think Amir matches up well to Earl, could this be for a WBU Belt?

The only concern from a managers perspective is Khan hasn't gone 12rouns yet so throwing him in with earl for 12 maybe a concern. If Khan punches himself out and gets taken out late.

a very good match up - the sort that khan/warren should be thinking about seriously making in the next 2 or three fights.

Yeah I agree, these are the type of fights they should be making him SOON, as Earl is the type of opponent Khan should be able to surpass if he is to meet his potential.

He's got to move up in class in his next fight imo, another Bull job, throwing no punches waiting to go down won't do. Earl would suite Khan imo, but also bring a desire like he has never seen.
Lightweight is packed with good domestic fighters who would jump at the payday and opportunity to knock the golden boy off his pedistal and make a name for themselves.
How about next fight - one of Phillips, Watson, Lawton type
then a Limond, Meager, Stewart, Earl before a fight with Thaxton? You couldn't say that was rushing him?
Although i'd love him to fight Murray on the PBF v DLH card. He may well be better than Murray but at least he'll know he's been in a fight

next - limond (who has improved much over the last 18months) beats limond by late stoppage.
then earl - beats graham by decision but is in dire trouble at some stage.
thaxton - khan loses split decision in classic. wins dull rematch on cuts stoppage.

Earl would be the ideal step up. He's just come off the beating of his life, isn't very fast, and doesn't do well v slick fighters. Amir would be a fair bit bigger. But Earl would make him fight and you can never rule out a Gomez-Arthur.
After taking flush shots from Romanov and Katsidis - in 2 of the best fights I've seen in this coutnry - Earl has had a good few years punched off his career.
