The article is put together well and you make some valid points. Quite a few questions remain, but will, I'm sure, be answered come May 5th.

If Mayweather wins, I hope people don't try to down-play the victory & start with "Oscar was too old, past his best etc. Oscar has already stated he feels in the best shape of his career, & one can only go by what an individual states.

If Floyd wins, then he'll have won titles at 5 different weight classes, which is some achievement. Although fighters give up titles like nothing in boxing today.

One thing I feel you could have perhaps touched on more, is the possibility of De La Hoya packing the sport in? Oscar is the biggest name in boxing, demands huge purses etc. However, if he were to lose to Mayweather, who else could motivate Oscar enough for him to box them?
