I want to break the record NEXT QUESTION 19th may

ok.
ive seen one thread with 11 thousand replies im not sure what the record is on Boxrec for thread replies but i want to break that record (maybe someone can enlighten me with the answer)
any way, i thought the only way to get anywhere near that record was to get replies to a easy question. All i want is for you guys to put in a boxers name, and for an incentive i will give a little gift to someone in the UK that puts in a name of a boxer that im thinking of.
This boxer i do not know much about but i admire some guys for the work they did in the ring and how they got there. I cannot give you any clues but if someone gets the name of this boxer i will give you a prize that is boxing related. Bare in mind this gift will not be worth thousands of pounds but it will be something for nothing.
Anyway, get them names going (one name each person, but you can have multiple goes)
help me break the record for relies to a thread.
Also can anyone give an indication to how many replies im looking for.

Hi mimmy, not sure what the record stands at. The forum has been off the boil for a bit lately. As you can see I don't post much, but I do like a challenge.
(P.S How do we know that you won't change your mind as you go?, Ha, Ha!)
Anyway, maybe there is nothing to read into it but (Donny born) leads me to my 1st guess of:
European, British & British Empire Champion (and fellow Donny): Bruce Woodcock.
Am I close?

no not close at all, that would be too easy as ive often mentioned Mr woodcock in a few other threads. I used to live near him.
Im a honest person and will not change my mind. the prize is only small and is just an incentive for people to put up a name.
im a little dissapointed with the responce up to now, 23 views and only one name.
Good choice though but too easy that one.

I believe that the world famous "Rob Calloway" thread on the "current scene" forum holds the boxrec record for thread replies. It just recently passed 1800 replies.

Boxbuzz sends them an autographed photo of himself. Draped or undraped, it's your choice.
