Even though it doesn't contain any Australians Mayweather De La Hoya is likely to be the biggest fight we see this year. My mates and I are thinking about going somewhere a little different to watch this superfight. Instead of going to the local pub we normally go to we're thinkin we might head into Star City and watch it on the super big screen there.
So where in Australia will you be watching?

I'm pretty sure only three bouts are being televised, not sure who is on before that.

Small world! Once upon a time I worked at Penrith Leagues Club, however I vowed never to go there again after I finally resigned (when I completed university)
Another place to watch the fights in Penrith is at the 'Top Pub' (I think its now called 'The Terrace', where the daily planet used to be)

I have been watching the De La Hoya / Mayweather boxing special on Fox 3. They were allowed to film in the training camps during the preparation for the fight.... I can tell you now, I'll be watching Oscar wipe that smart asses smirks right off his face.
And me, even being a misses, we get pay per view too, but i ain't going anywhere ..I'm one of the boys and if i wasn't breastfeeding at the moment.... i'd be getting blind too .... but i will definately be watching the boxing....
(sorry to all the ladies)... I'm not one of these 'i might break a fingernail girls'.

Hi Guys,
The Mareeba Boxing Team will b travelling to Townsville for an ameteur show on the 5th and we will be up early to drive north to Mareeba where I will watch the fight with my Dad and anothe MBT trainer and one of our fighters.
I am also contemplating watchng it at my brotehrs place in Cairns.
My brother and I were talking about the fight and I said I think Oscar can KO Mayweather, but dont think Mayweather could KO Oscar, my brother strongly disagreed and actually thought the opposite - what do you think??
