Is DLH vs Mayweather hype killing the sport....

..... a bit of a tongue in cheek title, but seriously, I actually have no shame in calling myself an anorak at all and two very decent fights/bills slipped my mind completely.
Firstly, we had the unification fight at Lightweight with two fighters going at it hammer and tong apparently untill Popo quit for the second time in his career... Juan Diaz has arrived good and proper now, could be the end of Freitas whose desire has been in doubt for some time (how many retirment speeches).
We then had the double world title card in Germany in which Stipe Drews upset Silvino Branco to win the WBA Light Heavyweight title and Felix Sturm became a 3 time Middleweight champion (without ever beating the man) by overcoming old foe Javier Castilejo.
Let alone forgetting (okay we can forget these) Arturo Morua getting a second world title shot in 4 months (didn't deserve one) losing a one sided decision to "big punching" Ricardo Torres.... well interesting in the fact that at least Junior stopped Morua.
And Justin Juuko got a win... now fighting at Welterweight. Beat a guy (with a decent record) via a shut out 10 rounder. Justin looked horribly shot vs Gomez and more recently vs the world class Santa Cruz at Lightweight. I don't want to see him fighting anymore, but sign suggest he is better at the higher weight (cause I couldn't see him beating anyone at Super Feather/Lightweight).
