Ndou v Malignaggi

Interesting fight. I thought Ndou was going to fight D-Hop but it was confirmed today that he will be taking on Malignaggi instead. One thing is for sure, Ndou will not get knocked out, Malignaggi has no punch! Does he have the skills to beat a well prepared Ndou? In my (very biased) opinion I don't think so. I reckon Ndou Malignaggi will pretty much go the same way as Cotto Malignaggi with Ndou defending his title and hopefully going on to even bigger things!

Your thoughts?

I'd say I'm more hopeful than confident of Lovemore getting the win in this one. Paulie may not have a punch, but he's slick and showed amazing heart in the Cotto fight. If he comes in well prepared, I could easily see him winning a UD over a frustrated Ndou.

If nothing else, it's good to see Ndou take on one of the dangerous youngsters in the division rather than taking a celeb fight with a Gatti or a powderpuff in his first defence. A big :TU: to him.

I know where you're coming from woe but you have to believe that Ndou will be up for this fight. I think it will be his best performance ever! I reckon he will try and take it to the trenches, if he can fight Paulie on the inside he will dominate. As you say Paulie is slick but Ndou will corner him at some point and he will make the most of it.

No doubt Ndou is relentless and will be up for the fight like never before, but will it be enough? I can't see him putting a dent in Paulie's chin if Cotto couldn't and I see a KO as his best bet in this fight. If he can get Paulie to stand and trade with him, I've got no doubt he'll land the harder punches and likely win a decision.... it'll be getting him to do so that will be the hard part.

I've played the fight over in my mind a few times and keep seeing Paulie back-peddalling his way to a close decision win in the neighbourhood of 8 rounds to 4. I hope like hell that I'm wrong as I'm a Lovemore fan and would like to see him have a decent reign at 140.

i know alot of people are talking about paper titles and ect. but forget the bogus world title and look at the fight. it is a good fight between to top 10 140lbs'. i think ndou can take this one....rabah is just as slick as malinagi and ndou roughed him up pretty good. but yeah....i wouldnt say its a certanty

As you say the fact the fight could go either way makes it a good match up for the fans. A slick runner versus a boxer puncher, which style will reign supreme??? Only time will tell...

But my money is on Ndou
