RIP DIEGO CORRALES

Died in a motorbike crash this morning, just 29... a real throwback warrior to the good old days when fighters werent afraid to fight the best... Chico wasnt afraid of anyone... RIP...

Ob man!! this is awfull news, he was still so young. I am truely saddened. The guy had his faults outside of the ring but seemed to have sorted himself out.
In the ring he was a true warrior and took part in some remarkable fights.
My thought are with his family.

I'm sad, but especially with the fact that the baby will never get to know its father.This probably didn't have to happen, but RIP Diego.

If he was a psychopath then you'd probably have got on very well with him as you come across as one yourself... he had problems in his life and had made mistakes, but he had paid the price for them and turned his life around, can you say the same for yourself??... if youre half as crazy off the net as you are on it then I feel for anyone who has to live with you, or are you just a keyboard warrior who is bullied by his mother still... what you've said here is beneath contempt!!.....

Well good for you, I'm not condoning what Chico did but we're talking about something that happened about 8 years ago now, Chico served his time and as far as I know never did anything like that again, he was a erratic and troubled person but also had many good points and many of the people who knew him loved him... and nows not the time to bring up his faults and past mistakes when the guy has just died, have some respect... I'm sure Chico's faults didnt stop you watching him put his life and health on the line in the ring for your entertainement...

Well we agree that he died far too soon, regarding his sentence I think he would have been released on license, had he done anything else he would have been back inside... but again I think discussing this is inappropriate as the man has just died...

From what I have heard he was a man who was trying to get it right. He made some mistakes and was attempting to atone. So although I agree that the act of beating a family member is deplorable he seemed to be on the road to rehab so to speak. None of us would want to be judged on our weakest moment.
I of course do not know the facts surrounding this matter just what the press picked up on the subject.

While I ain't supposed to judge anyone for their actions, I will compose myself and not make a response to the whole domestic disputes Diego and his wife had. I find it unfitting to bring it up when the past is only the past and you can't change what's been done---you either forgive and forget or you hold on to a bunch of baggage. Hopefully him and his wife did work things out, but that is not my business.
Good fighter. Sad to see one of the bigger stars of the sport go like that, especially in this time when the sport is already on the downside in popularity and in talent. R.I.P. Diego.
