What is the legendary Buckfast like?? Is it a sparkling pear wine type drink as I imagine it? Why do the monks still brew it - after all, it is largely associated with youths and anti social behaviour isnt it?..Its a crazy phenomenon!

Does anyone other than youngsters and whinos drink it in Belfast?

It's like no other drink. It's like a party in a bottle for a fiver .....it's very popular, not only youths and wino's, it's a Cult Icon over here. Good luck on your quest with the Monks fine wine Terry!

Seriously, what happened to you in Liverpool? You seem to harobur a deep dislike of this fair city.

Ive been a few places on that list, aberdeen is rubbish compared to Newcastle and Edinburgh which suprisingly both are not on , Doncaster is brilliant for a night out, way better than aberdeen or sheffield in my opinion.

You must love unscheduled bouts then.

I've got mates from Donny, and whenever they go back there it brings back very bad memories indeed.

Agreed. I've had some craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy nights in Blackpool.

Survey has nothing to do with "best nights out" though, its simply looking at which cities have the biggest drinkers / alcoholics / alcohol consumption.

The survey just takes into account how much people spend.
In wild towns people have half a bottle of vodka in their pocket 2 top up on the cheap.
If the survey was to include people's alchohol consumption, towns like Glasgow, Liverpool, Doncaster and my town of Swansea would surely get a mention!

Im down swansea with work in a few weeks actualy, night of the champions league final (just my ruddy luck). Any tips on where to go on a wednesday, where to avoid etc...

Nah, its not that bad anymore, no where near as many fights as there use to be :(

Doncaster has so many bars close to one another in the town centre its unbelievable, always packed to the rafters at the end of the night no matter where you go.
