FYI David Haye knocked Greenberg down with a jab in sparring three years ago and Michael Sprott has put Greenberg down and out in sparring twice and I’ve heard enough similar claims from three other heavyweights.

Heck, despite getting dominated and played with for two days in camp, Mark Krence busted Greenberg’s rib and sent him to hospital.

Greenberg has natural talent but he’s a KO victim waiting to happen.

Yep, think you are right, he seems to be sleepwalking through his career, and woe betide him if he gets in the ring with Vitali, it'll be a fekking massacre, provided of course Vitali isn't shot to shite, which is a possibility given his emaciated appearance shortly after he retired and the long layoff.

It seems madness to put him in with Vitali after he's had such piss poor opposition previously, as i said before, either they are cashing out on Roman with a big money fight, or they are hoping against hope he can beat Vitali, which seems incredibly unlikely.

I was reading about Buster Douglas the other day, he got himself all hyped up for that one fight, but once he'd beaten Tyson, he just didn't really seem to care any more, he turned up, got whacked out by Evander, and went home with his cheque for $17 million happy as a pig in shit, and gorged himself silly. Who can blame him.

I guess not everyone has the right mental make-up to be a champion, talent is only a small part of the equation really.

Yes, I think with Naz, he got it all too quickly. He was a superstar early in his career, and outearning his peers in the sub lightweight divisions by a country mile, he became convinced of his invincibility, started cutting corners and getting all bling, and then the wheels fell off, and he couldn't be bothered to go back to scratch.
