what do you guys think is the greatest ring entrance? although the naz ones were funny for me it was when Robin Reid came out against Joe Calzaghe. He looked so fired up and that added to the tension massivly.
Also chris eubank coming out against collins in the rematch and staring at the crowd before doing his ring jump.

Nige Benn against Eubank II. I thought Nige was completely unfocused (but was wrong obviously) - he was grinning widely and someone puts the Vs up to his face just inches away. Nige just grins and nods at him. Very cool and funny.

yeah oliver mccall running to the ring against lewis was funny. carl thompson trying to dance when coming in against eubank was hilarious

Sven Ottke when he had right said fred singing live, so funny (without trying to be).

Hatton the first time he had the thunder before blue moon - forget who it was against.

Mike Tyson in his prime. No Music or robe, was just out to intimidate the opponent.

Eammon Magee had the shortest ringwalk i've ever seen last friday. was about 8 yards.

But best ever was Chris Eubank in Germany against Graciano Rocchigiani.
Now thats how to wind a crowd up, Eubank came into the ring in all his pomp, smiling and geeing up the german crowd, then he stood on the ring apron tapping his gloves together looking out at the crowd.

Agreed. Eubank knew how to get the crowd going.

Eubank-Rocchigiani was fantastic. He just soaked up every drop of the atmosphere.

Best one I was at live was Bruno-McCall. The huge, historic Wembley Stadium, with a laser show beaming into the open night air, the boxers' faces, national icons for both sides, thumping music rocking the massive arena, Bruno looking the business, McCall crying!

Anyone remember McCalls theme tune from that night??

"Here comes the bull, oooh ohhh oooooh ohhhhhhh, ohhhhhhhh" That tune was class!!

McCall in tears, Don King & Greg Page flanking him screaming in his ear, it looked like he was gonna come out like a house on fire......

Haglers ring walk was good.
The dark robe with the hood, he had the Executioner routine down fairly well.

Ricky Hatton has the worst music for a ring walk 'Blue Moon'

Salvador Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomesz in their classic were two very memorable ring entrances.

Sanchez performace in the fight surpassed any ring entrance in history.

Naz's flying carpet is always the one that immediately springs to mind, OTTness at its best, but overall I'm going to have to be boring and agree with the majority by saying Chris Eubanks entrances were 'Simply The Best'

I'm sure that was a Gomez Fight

Yeah that the one Ian, they have a kind of play off before the fight, which is amazing, although Sanchez is always in control

I was there for that one too. Bungu was in the ring, Naz's music started playing, and everybody was wondering "Where is he?". Then somebody pointed up to the roof of the arena and, lo and behold, there he was, "floating" to the ring on a magic carpet. Classic!

The guy danny williams fought who came to the ring with a brian may wig on - hilarious. Okay, not on a par with magic carpets or pure concentration, but it made me laugh. He was crap too.

Tyson in his prime was one of the best. No fuss or hype, just get to the ring & start boxing asap.

I remember specifically, Tyson's ring walk against Larry Holmes. Mike was almost running to the ring. Talk about let's get it on!

Yes, the battle of the mariachi bands for Sanchez-Gomez was absolute class!

Eubank's... From the fanfare onwards pure Drama.

Evander Holyfield singing to the ring when facing Tyson was another sight.

Bingo! Yeah, forgot about that one, christ Evander looked scary, tears rolling down his face and singing at the top of his lungs with that biblical psalm number on his trunks.

If ever a man was absolutely convinced he was going to a win a fight and damned well right, it was Evander that night.

i think its a shame that steve murray showed his limitations as i thought his chainsaw entrance against vanzie was great. if he had finished off vanzie i think they could of built him up more .
also paul ingles army style entrance agianst naz was good and then ingle and his camp left the ring when nazs entrance went on too long!

I seen a Eubank entrance live, I was seated next to the route for the entrances.....on his way in he stopped right where I was at and started tapping his gloves together the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up, best ring entrance I have seen by far, even beats Hatton's against Tszyu and Calzaghe's against Lacy.

I was going to say that Holy one, he was in some religious trance, that was intimidating!

However he tried it with Lennox who wasn't having any of it

I liked Tyson's ring entrance too, I was at his 'fight' with Julius Francis standing on my seat just a few metres from Tyson when he did his ringwalk there, was pretty cool to see having grown up watching him.

To be honest all the Naz and Hatton stuff doesn't lift my frock, think it looks a bit stupid... Although when Hamed fought Kelly at MSG and in the US for the first time, that was quite good and built up an unbelievable atomosphere and the fight delivered.

Owen Hart's final entrance was memorable.

Mike Tyson was awesome in his early career, you could feel the electricity in the air even when watching it on television, the menace he oozed was unbelievable.

When he fought Douglas, he was noticably passive, been rereading a book about Tyson, and it seems likely he did absolute bugger all training for that fight. Considering that, he did bloody well to last as long as he did in that fight.
