doubt it'll be any better than Cantatore. a guy we aleady saw Nelson beat. What will the next show be called? Perhaps a triple header involving Calzaghe, Enzo and Khan called "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme."

Rob Calloway.
Trying to compete with David Haye - see who can destroy ex-Audley foes the quickest.
Plus Calloway has a statistically good record – 64-7-1 (51). They could sell that to ITV.
I like Enzo but would prefer he lost the title against one of the best than keep defending against weak fighters. He would get a lot more respect for fighting the best. I'm sure Enzo wants the best too.

My respect for Enzo for go up considerably if he took on Braithwaite - it seems odd now but he was actually the favourite going into his fight with Mormeck. I actually think Enzo could do a number on Braithwaite - he was badly rocked by Cantatore but the italian was too slow to follow up.

Braithwaite is a winnable fight for Enzo, against an opponent who is still just about credible enough to satisfy some of the haters.

The opponent will be shit, we will all rightly complain about it but despite the complaints we will all still watch the fight.

Just wondered. It sounded authoritative - almost an air of assuredness to it. Obviously i read it wrong!

Has to be Braithwaite, he needs to step up, NOW..

Enzo's last fight was a joke, should not have been allowed. As you rightly state, opposition needs to be of a higher standard.
However, don't hold your breath. Heck, maybe even Bobby George will be in the opposite corner next time out for Enzo?

The fans won't stand for another Gunn - at least I hope not...
Then again, I was at the fight and a lot of these people loved it, they know f** all about boxing, speak on their mobiles all the way through the undercard and often the big fight......and they think people like Manfredo are world class....
Sad state of affairs, thank God for Boxrec

Pietro Aurino as I said in a previous post. Warren has done business with his team numerous times before. Anyone remember Aurino fighting Johnny Nelson at Bethnal Green?

Think Aurino is banned in UK for failing to pay a fine against Nelson for something or other.

That's the problem.
Warren can get away with it, because 90% of these alleged fans who turn up and watch fights like Macca/Gunn know fvck all about boxing!
The general fan in the UK knows jack shit compared to the general fan in the US.
Even down the gym, you have lads training, who have never even heard of someone like Shane Mosley!!
Fully expect Macca to be fed another bum.
Just hope the public finally get sick of it(doubt they will though)

I know a few low-level British fighters who haven't heard of Shane.

How about Herbie Hide, that would be a cracker - Never happen though, too even as with David Haye - Probably a plonker, maybe a blown up MW.

Johnathan Banks would be exciting. The fight wouldn't last long - although I don't know that Banks has done enough to deserve a title shot.
