It is the 1st time I have heard Ricky being talked about in this manner.
I hope it is not true, you can easily criticise him for being out of shape between fights but this??

Oh really? Ricky came across as a grounded downtoearth bloke as usual. Good little insight I thought. That Buncey can talk some shit mind.

People do pot shot at Hatton in regards him being grounded (usually witter fans) but for someone who is very wealthy, he hasn't exactly spent a fortune on his home comforts.
Yeah and Bunce does talk shite most of the time, he entertaining all the same.

I've give Hatton some stick on the forums for his choice of opponents, but as a person hes always came across as a top bloke

He (ricky) was at michael gomez last fight. He signed every autograph and had his photo taken with every single person who approached him. He sat with the general paying public and joked with them too. I think you'll find he is quite the opposite (from my experience) of a "big headed chunt" .

Hatton is a lovely fella. The way he appears on telvesion is the way he is when you meet him. I met him at the Ringside gym opening in February and he had time for everyone.

I can't help but see him as less than sincre. He expects us to make him rich via PPV despite poor performances, talks about how such and such us going to be a great fight then puts in a stinker.

But thats not him personally. And he'd be a fu**ing idiot not to cash in on PPV sales at this, the height of his career, not a "big headed chunt" . Anyhow, I'd wager his promoters deal with PPV issues etc...

I've criticised Hatton a lot but at the end of the day he's not going to turn down the money from payper view is he?... as for him putting in stinkers recently I agree but again I dont think its by choice and fair play to him for admitting recently that his last fights have been below par.
I wonder whether some of this stick comes from the fact that Hatton is latting Wayne Rooney carry his belt into the ring for him against Castillo and that this has put the noses out of joint of quite a few Manchester City fans???.... if so then I think its pretty pathetic....

I have never met Ricky Hatton but I wish I had - He seems a really nice and honest man in all the interviews I have seen - Proud of his acheivments but definately not bigheaded.
