KHAN: MY RIVALS RUNNING SCARED OF ME

Pardon me whilst i yawn.
Amir Khan says his domestic rivals are "running scared" - and he'll fight any of them.
The 20-year-old takes on Willie Limond in a challenge for the Commonwealth lightweight title on July 14 at the O2 Arena in London's East End.
And if he comes through the fight, he'll have plenty of options open to him, with the likes of Graham Earl, John Murray, Kevin Mitchell and Jon Thaxton all potential opponents.
But Khan claims that despite some big words, the majority of his domestic foes don't fancy climbing through the ropes with him.
"If they want to fight me I will fight them - I am not scared of anybody," Khan told PA sport.
"I think they're scared the way they use words more than action and just keep talking instead of going and asking my promoter allegedly to make the fight.
"It is not nice when people say stuff about wanting to beat me. I know my big chance will come and when it comes I will prove I am one of the best fighters in the world."

How about asking your promoter to stop offering opponents pittance to fight you? Then maybe we could see you in a competitive fight.

Amir as got a test in Wille Limond in july i think Khan will win this fight but want be straight forward but i do think he is saying to much to soon these big fights will come for him the 1 i really want is Murray v Khan because i think John will beat him and shut that big mouth of hes up.

Remember though that Amir doesn't see the need to fight Murray because he knows he's so far ahead of him and, besides, he schooled Murray when sparring (despite them, seemingly, having never sparred).
He'll fight all-comers though.........

I can assure u mate they didnt spar Amir spared Johns youngerbrother Joe Murray Amir as even addmited he got this wrong he got confused between the 2.

it looks like warren is lining up the world title chances already. khan says he can get down to super feather - alex arthur is going for a "version" of the "WBO title" in less offensive terms, mr ian axom, the WBO incontinent version.
and there's Mbaye up at 140, of course.

Khan is becoming very arrogant IMO. He should be careful because people are fickle, & one minute you can be well-liked by the public, the next you are very much disliked. Amir's behaviour, attitude, aroogance could easily change they way people perceive & treat him.
One question: Who's Khan's advisor?
I ask this because whoever he/she is, they are obviously not doing they're job properly. Amir has talent & skills no doubt, but he's young and like us all when we're young, still have a lot to learn in life in general.
Amir needs to realise humble is the best quality. Look at Ricky Hatton. Ricky is very liked & received by the public in general because he beahves, acts with humility. He's not arrogant & doesn't claim his rivals are scared of him.

But you cant fake that stuff. Just like Joe Calzaghe cant magically manufacture Chris Eubank or Nigel Benns charisma, Amir Khan cant pretend to be like Hatton.
He actually does have the arrogance of Audley, just nowhere near as articulate.

The more Khan talks the more he just sounds like a silly little spoilt boy... he's certainly not the brightest spark it seems...

He wont fight Mitchell, he wont fight Murray and no way in hell will he fight Thaxton. The only person he might fight in that list is Graham Earl.
The most interesting fight for me would be Murray. It's not going to happen though.

i'd like to ask amir whats so wrong about opponents "...saying stuff about wanting to beat me" er..thats the whole idea actually amir. but perhaps you were under the impression - and i can understand it from your level of opponent so far - that the blokes you have fought werent meant to even think they could win.
