Moved here from England to continue his boxing career under Johnny Lewis but see that he lost the other day on a 2nd round stoppage to Ariel Omongos, a 20 year old with only two wins in nine fights, anyone know what happend? an injury loses maybe?

Filipino was just too good for him - RSF.
Given Filipino's record, I think Syger was overconfident. As a result he lost his WBF Asia Pacific light welter title, which he won 4 weeks ago.
Had he weighed 110 grams more, the title would've been safe.

Tiger was not himself for this fight - I watched the fight & firstly the stoppage was ridiculously early, secondly the title was NOT on the line for this fight!
Prehaps he did over look his opponent but has learnt from this hard lesson.
I KNOW he will be back stronger next time out.

secondly the title was NOT on the line for this fight!
Spoke with John Hogg, who does WBF Asia Pacific ratings. As far as he's concerned the title is vacant.
Both weighed within light welter limit & Syger was stopped. Had he been outpointed it would've been safe, because it was a 6 rounder - Worldwide basic rule.
Cheers

What is Jed doing at light welter anyway? He was a super feather and not a big one, ive seen him train along side feathers and not much size difference at all, Dont think he has the strength at ight welter because he didnt seem that strong at super feather
