Calzaghe/Kessler - Is it on?

Been reading some snippets on the BBC website, and Calzaghe is quoted with statements that would make it appear the the fight is a done deal.
Is Calzaghe getting in on the bluffing game or is he under the impression that it is on.
Either way it looks closer than ever.

If this goes ahead, I'm off to Denmark to watch this one.
Soren, I can drop off that Magri photo I've been meaning to send for the last two months.

I assumed that Palle had made an offer that he couldn't afford and that maybe he was calling in help from Hans Henrik Palm for backing. For the good of boxing, Kessler, tan Calzaghe's hide and send him packing! I think I speak for most of us on here - we've had enough.
If Kessler is good enough to beat/replace him we can at leats be sure that he's going to fight good opponents and seek out the biggest fights.

JOE CALZAGHE has lined up a super-middleweight fight with Mikkel Kessler in Denmark in September.
Dane Kessler holds the WBA and WBC belts at that weight, while Calzaghe is the WBO champion.
The Welshman’s manager allegedly said: “He feels he will beat Kessler anywhere.
“It’s a great fight. It’s the two best super-middleweights in the world. It’s probably one of the most competitive fights at the moment in boxing.
“It’s not a done deal until it’s signed but we’ve accepted. It’s now up to Mogens Palle (Kessler’s promoter) to send a contract.”
Kessler’s camp last week accused Warren of shielding Calzaghe from a bout with the Dane, but Warren insisted his man is ready.
“I just hope that Palle backs up his offer,” Warren added.
“We sent him an e-mail on Tuesday along with a fax confirming what the terms were and we’ve not heard from him since.
“I’m hoping it’s not all nonsense. He’s been talking a lot about fighting Joe and we’ve called his bluff.
“I don’t believe he ever thought that Joe would go to Denmark. It will be Joe’s biggest payday.”
You would think they'd let 'em out of hospital before all this....

I'm of the opinion that FW etc are playing the media game to improve their position in any FUTURE negotiations.
I very much doubt it will take place.
Let's not forget Joes hands at this stage either.

I think Joe realises that he can't take a soft option, fight Inkin at some far off distant future and stall Kessler to maybe fight in two years. It should be one fight and then get out.
