What should be the hitmans next 3 fights be in order and what venues should the fight be staged at if he gets past the tough mexican Castillo personally to me i think in order it should be Cotto madison square garden Mayweather if the fight can be made at the MGM Grand Las Vagas the to top it of Witter at the City of Manchester Stadium are even Wembley Stadium. What do you all think.

Castillo - Cotto - Mayweather - Retirement. If Ricky can fight Mayweather and ideally i believe he can beat him, then he should retire as the pound for pound best fighter on the planet. Nothing more to prove after that.

However he will have to make a massive name out of himself before that happens and only beating De La Hoya or Cotto will do that for him imo.

in terms of venues i would like them to be in England after Castillo so i can save a lot of money on the travel but i'm not sure. i'd like to say the Mayweather fight out of Las Vegas for the sake of the lighter gloves making it a better fight but everything Mayweather has ever said about coming to England to fight Ricky is bullshit he has no intention of giving up all his advantages.

witter - at the end of the year at cardiff or wembley stadium. if he beats harris of course.

cotto - april or may next year at welterweight.

mayweather - end of 08. if he comes out of retirement.

I'd like to see him fight Cotto, Mosley and Mayweather in that order.

If the Castillo fight is great they will have a rematch.

If Hatton wins clear/boring, he'll fight Malignaggi, if the latter beats Lovemore.

I think there's obviously going to be a difference between what we'd like Hatton's next three fights to be, and what they will actually be, realistically.

Realistically, I think it could be Holt and/or Malignaggi next, followed by a defence (mandatory perhaps) then maybe something back up at welter - for the IBF perhaps, or maybe Cotto.

I'd like it to be Malignaggi, Holt, Witter. If he was to retire after another three fights, then that could be different, but really I'd like to see him put 140 beyond doubt.

A trilogy with Witter

Seriously, he should go for Mayweather, if he can't get that then Cotto, if he can't get that then Witter. Mosley would embarrass Hatton, Cotto and Mayweather he stands chances against

Hatton is well below Mayweather's radar. If Mayweather fights again presumably it wil be vs Cotto, exciting and a huge draw in NYC.

First off, let's see what happens with Hatton and Castillo. If it's scintillating, there will be the sequel, with both guys finding their great rival and natural payday. If N'dou grinds down Malignaggi like he did Rabah tonight, it would make a guaranteed fierce battle. If Malignaggi wins tonight, Hatton-Paulie in NY anyone? Sounds sellable.

What happens if Hattons loses, there is a good chance this will happen.

I think Hatton's time is up in the world scene. Some guys can win a title. Some guys can keep a title. We'll soon find out with Hatton.

What about a guy that has won a title in each of his last 4 fights?

Which category does that put him in

I just think Hatton lifestyle will catch up with him soon.

I'd like to see him vs Cotto, and Witter, just because I think he should have cleaned up domestically by now.
As for the last fight, I'd like to see Mayweather but I don't think Hatton is in his plans. How about Shane Mosley?

Pound for Pound best on the planet? WOW such belief?!?!?!?! Ricky will NEVER fight PBF thats a dead cert.All he did was blow hot air.There is a wealth of talent at welter with a massive amount of names including 2nd tier contenders like Witter and Harris.Hatton is too scared to fight them so what makes you think he`ll take on a beast like Cotto De la Hoya SSM etc etc? Seeing as the criteria for the HOF is so weak these days i wouldnt be surprised if he did make it..

If Ricky can get back to cutting off the ring fast, lateral movement and maintaining an awesome pace, I wouldn't out anything past him. What he did to Tszyu was remarkable. Maybe he's just suffered a badly thought out move to welter and a poor preparation for Urango. Maybe he's not as good as ppl would like to think. We don't know yet. Tszyu was a genuine great and Hatton beat him. Some men can win titles. Some can keep them. Let's see which Ricky is as he takes on his 2nd elite opponent.

IMO Hatton will not get the big fights he needs - he will 'settle' IMO for unifying the belts - although he may have to miss one due to the Witter Factor...

Malignaggi dominated N'dou last night. No one beats N'dou easly. That's a terrific win for the New Yorker. Surely Hatton-Malignaggi is a ticket seller.

Well, Malignaggi and DiBella have both said they want Hatton next. If Ricky can overcome the small matter of Castillo, I think Hatton-Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden will definitely be next.

Looking forward to catching Malignaggi-N'Dou on Friday. N'dou has always lost the big ones, but as you say, nobody has dominated him. Great result for Paulie.

I can only see Hatton fighting Malignaggi if he can't get a fight made with Cotto. There's only a handful of fights Ricky should really be looking for now, and Cotto is top of the list. He gains little by beating the likes of Witter and Malignaggi at this point.

cotto is way too big and strong. no way should hatton move up to fight him after the last debacle.

i say he should go for witter next as it isnt likely to be a 'war' like the castillo fight looks set to be.

i think hatton will beat castillo, then i firmly believe that malignaggi will be too cute for hatton and will beat hatton on points, styles make fights and i just think that malignaggi is too skilled for hatton.

if hatton v mallignaggi is at MSG i think i may well be tempted to make my first visit to the big apple.

I think a lot depends on the result against Castillo. If Hattons loses, then I think it diminishes the possibility of bouts against Cotto, Mayweather a great deal.

If Ricky wins, then all the speculation of fights with Mayweather, Cotto will continue. I do believe Hatton will fight at 147lbs again before he retires.

Ricky has stated he wants to fight De La Hoya, but I can't see Oscar getting motivated for the fight. If Oscar comes back, it'll only be for a rematch with Floyd in my view. I think the same applies to Mayweather.

I think Witter & Malignaggi are the most likeliest of candidates for Hatton bout after Castillo.

No one has mentioned Mosley. I think Shane is a possibility, even more so that he stated the other day this could be his last year.
