If you know of any decent boxing biographies please let me know.

I've got Joe Egan's (rubbish) and Johnn Tapia's (superb) and a friend is lending me Paul Brigg's and Duran's.

Just finished 'Unforgivable Blackness' the biography of Jack Johnson, fantastic read, also just watching the documentry of the book right now!

I love boxing autobiog's i have the Eubank one, the 2 Bruno books, nigel Benn and Michael Watsons ones. They are all good reads. At the moment im reading 'Sweet Agony' by paul Sykes, which is quite interesting, however this book is very hard to find these days.

Charley Burley by Harry Otty.
Dick Tiger by Adeyinka Makinde.

Are both outstanding peices of work.

Just read the Duran one and it's superb. Ali-His Life And Times also great. Larry Holmes' is the best boxing autobiography I've ever read.

The author conducted a load of interviews with Duran, and lots with his opponents and associates too, can't imagine that there will ever be a better book on the great man.

yeh, ive found the book online, firstly though i went to ebay it was for sale for £16 plus £2-75 postage. i nearly bought it. however i got it from an online store for £11 free postage. there are some robbing bastards on ebay.

I find autobiographies so addictive, escpecially boxing of course. Anybody else find that? The more I read, the more I want to read.

But there are loads I still haven't got to, and loads I wish was written and I think it's a damn shame we can't share their stories.

If not what are the 3 best books on boxing?. .....Please don't be sarcastic I want to know who you think has put some good boxing information out in book form. If you reccomend a book on Ali or Leanard I'm going to let loose with a hard core fundamentaly perfect and precision timed right cross from hell right through your computer screen.
