Looks like a pretty good chance to see some good talent in Northbridge on Saturday with Kickett, Asiku, Adam Wills, Langham and Robbie Bryant all on the card.
Admitedly they are all fighting unknown Thai fighters, but i'd rather watch this card than the card on fox on friday

Is Steve Wills on the card? He always puts up a good fight as does his brother. I heard that they fought each other as amatures. If so they are mad buggers. Does anyone no who won?

haha yeh abc i can remember hearing that on the green murdoch undercard while he was tearing the stuffing out of light chinned kickboxer ben burrage..
They said adam lost in the final of the nsw 64kg state titles to his bro, would have hated to be the parents trying to contain all that sibling rivalry haha

All the locals won there bouts. Without being too critical as it was a small budget show, all were terrible mismatches, particularly the female bout. At least the fighters are keeping active.

You were there? I'm interested to know why the Bryant fight was a technical draw?

Unsure who was cut due to accidental head clash, but because 2 rounds hadn't been completed it war ruled Tech Draw.
Robbie won the 1st round - 10/9 on all cards
Cheers

Cheers. A pity it taints his record, especially against a fighter with pretty much zero credentials.

I disagree, Bryant was cut over the eye lid so deemed dangerous as blood would drip into his eye.
Given didn't go 4 rounds until local rules should have been no contest not a draw. Spoke to a couple of the officials after the bout and they agreed with me.

Those officials should have a look at the rules again.
2 rounds have to be completed up to 6 scheduled rounds & 3 beyond that to go to scorecard in the event of a cut due to accidental head clash. - otherwise it’s a Tech Draw.
“No Contest” decision applies when the fight is stopped in unusual circumstance.
However, it is the opinion of some that Bryant was cut by left hook, which also floored him, and not AHC, therefore lucky he didn’t register TKO loss.
Cheers

Wow, this is not something I was expecting from this fight! Sound like a poor performance by Robbie, and like you said, lucky to get away with the TD.

Do you think if the opponent got the cut that Bryant would have won by TKO. This is the reason ive stopped going to local shows here in Perth, The cards are crap and the biased towards the local fighters is disgraceful.

Ref Dean Woodhams is a kickboxing ref more so than Queensburry rules.
He might've paid more attention to possible kicks than fists.
