if hatton boxes him he will get beat...he will be caught coming in with hooks etc

hatton must crowd castillo and take away his height and reach , if he does this then i think hatton will wear him down for a late stoppage

how many body shots did hatton walk into when he tried to box urango????....castillo is alot better than urango.

box castillo and hatton will get stopped

Hatton was at his best when he was boxing Urango, when he let the boxing go in the later rounds, he was struggling even more.

If he Box fights, he'll do a number I think. Use his footwork to move in and out and open up the angles on Castillo and then rough him up and use his footwork. You can't just brawl against Castillo, you have to out box him as well. I reckon we'll see a Box fighter style Saturday!

IMO if he tries to swarm Castillo it will go badly - lets see his conditioning eh? IMO he will have to fight him like Tackie, not like Zoo

The last thing he should do with Castillo is brawl, he should box his head off and then wear him down......

Castillo's got older legs.....but he's still dangerous

We should remember that Castillo is no slouch when it comes to 'boxing' either. JLC has a good technical side about him, great left hook to head/body, nice overhand right & a solid jab.

Hatton may be wise to box, but it's not as if by him doing this, it'll be a walk in the park, or overly easy for Ricky.

However, considering how both like to come forward, pressure their opponents, I see this one as being a close-quarters affair. Castillo is very clever on the inside.

Brawl?

Quite the opposite I think. It's got to be horses for courses, and what worked against Tzsyu won't get it done against Castillo. Castillo is excellent at freeing up his arms, and his short little hooks and uppercuts (especially the uppercut) are among the best punches in boxing at the moment. I also think that the way in which they are thrown might cause Hatton to open up, despite the fact that it hasn't been as much a problem for Ricky as it once was.

To get the win here he needs to replicate the last ten rounds against Magee, which was, for me, was the best boxing performance of his career, better even than his showing against Tackie. He has to show the same level of wariness, and get off with his shots and then get out before Castillo can respond. He has better movement and will be noticeably quicker than Castillo, so that's what he needs to use to his advantage. I'd also like to see him jab more than he has done recently too. It's a superb, underrated jab that Hatton has, and if he can get it firing from early on in this one he can make Saturday's fight a lot easier than it first appears.

For what it's worth, I think Hatton still has a top class performance in him. I'm hoping that this will be it.

eh? If he boxes he'll get caught coming in with hooks, but if wades in and brawls thats a safer option?
