The only fights I have seen of the former WBA Super-Middleweight Champion are his two losing efforts against Marvin Hagler and I was just wanting to ask if anyone here has seen more of his fights and had any opinions on him?
Also how do you think he compares aganst todays Middle & Super-Middleweights?

He was a solid, good fighter who was very popular in his native Venezuela.... a fairly well schooled boxer with a solid punch... under rated and somewhat forgotten, lost among the superstars of the age, like Hagler.

Fully was massive for a middleweight. 6'2" and could really fight. He moved up to 168 and had sucess.
He would have given guys like Kessler and Clazaghe a decent fight.
He would have beaten the likes of Jermain Taylor at 160

How do you think Obel would have done against the likes of Barkley, Tate, Nunn, Q.Taylor etc?

He destroyed Wayne Barker who was a tough British middleweight who had fought a lot on the bare knuckle scene as well
