Steve Collins caught shoplifting!!

Former boxing champion Steve Collins was reportedly arrested after he was caught shoplifting from a B&Q DIY store.
Irishman Collins, the former WBO middleweight and super-middleweight world champion earned around £5million during his boxing career but it seems he couldn't find the short change needed to pay for the head of a spray paint gun.
The Sun says the 42-year-old was arrested on Monday in Watford and was released later the same day after being admitting shoplifting and accepting a fixed £80 fine.
Collins' brush with the law is not the first time a sports star has been caught red-handed trying to avoid the tills in B&Q.
Earlier this year Chelsea defender Glen Johnson, then on loan at Portsmouth, was also hit with an £80 fixed penalty after trying to steal taps and a toilet seat from a branch of the store in Kent.

I'd be more inclined to believe the story if the source wasnt TheSun and their source was some criminal who "shared a cell with him"

As bizzare as it sounds I believe the story, quite slanderous if untrue, isnt it ?

B&Q prices are a bit steep. I don't blame him for trying it on, maybe he was bored and needed a little excitement?
I doubt that he's hard up, or that Glen Johnson is struggling either.
Some people just like to nick stuff!

Didn't madeley nick a bottle of wine?
Funniest postscript to that was one day on this morning there
were madeley, his missus and Denise Robertson having a phone
in about piles or whatever and some woman from manchester came
on and asked this banal question about piles and Denise anwsered and madeley and judy finniga had their say and the woman said 'oooh and one more thing before I forget... can you pop out and get us a bottle of wine Richard luv'
That weren't the funny bit. the funny bit was madely losing it screaming
at the camera saying he was found innocent and that the caller was
immature and childish and that they will trace the number and sue her
for slander etc

Perhaps he was wanting to touch the flaking paint of his WBO belt.
