I'm looking to buy some kind of advanced punchbag, that help trains you.. I'm not sure where to look, i'm on amazon at the momemt and found 'Slam Man free standing punch bag', but it's 300 quid and don't want to be buying it if there's simular stuff for a better price.

Also would i be able to use the 'Slam Man' when it's turnt off, just as a heavy bag?

Never used one but I have heard they are a joke - they apparently are nowhere near as durable as a heavy bag.... As for training you.... mate if you are training toward a purpose you need a trainer not a gadget.... no offense but spend 300 quid on subs for an ABA or full boxing gym

You here so many that want to get a punch bag for indoors etc...

The best thing you can do is get down your local gym mate.

Learn how to do things properly.

It's also a lot more enjoyable than working out by yourself indoors.

You have to remember most people want to have a bag in the house, to look good, as a fashion accessory, to show there mates.

These people won't go down the gym cause they might get hit back.

They will never use such equipment it will gather dust in the garage.

But at least they can tel there mates that they used to be a fighter, and 300 quid is cheap to be able to say that!

I wanted a punch bag, does that make me a tosser also?
Not everyone has the time to spend to go to a local gym, or has a local gym nearby, and they just want to release some aggression and get some exercise.

ive tried slam man but as you say its expensive if you just want it for the odd hit about.
a very competative other is b.b.e equivilant which will cost you less than half-£130 i think mine was.

Well no, i'm not serious about it, i'm just a big boxing fan, who wants to have some fun/exercise, not turn pro or anything.

But yeah, i might just get a normal heavy bag.

keep your wrist straight unless you want an injury faster than you can say joe calzaghe

Just get yourself down to a gym, why not? Can't you spare a couple of hours a week? How long do you intend to spend on a punch bag? the equivalent time with a trainer would be alot more beneficial.
