Yes, amazing - but if it wasn't for the lifestyle and the beatings, he'd probably live to 130!

Jake LaMotta was a tremedous fighter but not the nicest of men by all accounts.

Also shame he didn't fight Charley Burley.

Yeah Lamotta was one of the true legends of the ring...

His fieocity and attitude always gave him an edge over his opponents,

& even today, the big man just refuses to die....

A warrior if ever one stepped into the ring!!!!!

i dont think we need to ponder IF marshall and the rest of the black murderers row wore "cuffs" - its a cast iron certainty, but then the majority of decent fighters in those days were involved one way or the other
