Not in my lifetime.... this merry go round of Heavyweight fights between Skelton, Sprott, Harrison and Williams is supposedly the best Heavyweight fare we have on offer in this country.

Diabolical is one word that springs to mind.

That was the worst fight of the merry go round for me - Sprott shouldn't get paid for that he didn't even try.

If I never see a British Heavyweight fight again I won't be upset - seriously. That has destroyed what little hope I had left in the big fellas.

I dont think the World Heavyweight scene has ever been this bad either

I think they're going to have to drop the heavies from ITV 1. They're the ones who give boxing a bad name with the wider audience. Having said that, I feel a little sorry for Skelton as Sprott just didn't come to fight. Ian John-Lewis, who scored it a draw, should never be allowed to judge another fight, or at least make an urgent appointment with an optician.

It's disgraceful that a blood and guts effort like Cook v Luevano is hidden away on ITV4 while that shite is served up on ITV1. Wake up Warren!!!!!!

Dont give up on audley just yet! hes by far the most skillful heavyweight we'v had since lewis and if he can get a couple of wins to boost his confidence and start concentrating a bit more he'd walk thru those two and id fancy him against anyone except maybe wlad.
Mark my words, he'll be back!

Skelton would walk straight through Harrison.

Warren wont deliver on his world title promise for skelton and if he takes on harrison in the meantime he'l lose.
Hes exactly what audley needs, someone who'l make him work and wont give him a minutes rest. harrison would use the jab all night long and dont forget he can whack a bit.

You have got to be kidding, I can't see how Harrison could hold Skelton off. He'd fold easily.

Skelton takes out Harrison, who is more apt ot be disheartened than Sprott was tonight

Im not kidding, audleys a class act and he'l prove it soon enough. i may sound stupid now but il be sayin 'i told you so' when hes world champ.

Alright windup over, Harrison just got KO'd by Sprott and you saw him tonight...... ;)

Sprott beat Harrison because Harrison is cocky and that corresponds to sloppy technique - Harrison is NOT any sort of good fighter -- the whole national scene is weak, Harrison just another weak fighter

I cannot think of a worst time. It was pretty dire on a domestic level in the mid 90's - pre prime Williams, post Bruno. Whilst we had Lennox Lewis and Henry Akinwande on top of the world... Fighing on these shores for domestic honours were the likes of Welch, Oyebola etc... although we also had Hide.

It was also pretty bad when the likes of Jess Harding were pretty much the best of the bunch. Although again, there were one or two geniunally classy domestic (and in one case) World level operators... Sweet D, Lennox Lewis, Gery Mason etc.

An extremely dire fight. Other countries heavyweights must be laughing at ours!!
