Khan knockdown and Margarito

For the Khan knockdown - did anybody else notice how he got back up and then seemed to take a voluntary knee? I thought that was a bit odd, but clearly a sign of a hurt fighter who was a out of it at the time. Limond doesn't hit hard and a better finisher or harder hitter should have been able to stop Khan. But in fairness to him, he got up, composed himself, and finished the job. So now people on this forum have been posting that his career is finished? That's going a bit far. Most world champions have had tough fights early in their career and have been hurt or knocked down. I think what separates a lot of fighters is how they handle it and how they react. Khan did the right thing last night and as much as people don't like him or his attitude (myself included), he still ultimately did what he had to do against a more experienced fighter. I don't know how far he can go but at least now he knows what it's like to be hurt badly and mentally he will know in future that he has dealt with it in the past. Yes, he seems to be a bit chinny, he was hit with some good shots (although not by a big hitter), but he cleared his head and got on with it. His career certainly is not over and the experience will have done him good. He is more likely to improve from last night. I would like to see him beaten and brought down to earth but I think people are a bit too quick to rubbish him.
As for Margarito, anybody else feel a little bit annoyed about all the hype he has been getting over the past couple of years? Maxboxing have been the worst for it. I have never before seen a guy at that stage of his career with zero P4P wins on his record receive such hype. For me last night proved to me that he is nothing more than a tough, heavy handed, but one dimensional fighter who gets his wins by plodding forward and wearing down his opponents. Last night he showed he can not step up a gear and change something when it counts (12th round), and to give the first six rounds or thereabouts away meant he was always going to need a knockout. I was up for Margarito, but fair play to Williams for hanging in there and it was refreshing afterwards to hear him admit he was stunned and that things didn't always go to plan at times (unlike Khan). If he continues to work on using his height more effectively he will be more than a handful for anybody in the division. Nobody will bother giving Margarito another title opportunity now - not unless Cintron fancies a rematch.
