There is too many weight divisions! What is 5lbs difference?

In the old days the Heavyweight class was 175-unlimited. And Middleweight was 150-165 and then you had flyweight, lightheavyweight and welterweight and others.
Now it is every four or five pounds there is a new division of weight.
Thats why I like Jones versus Ruiz, finally a lightheavyweight goes up in weight and can prove that a solid lightheavyweight fighter can go against a heavyweight by todays standards.
What is five pounds difference? Nothing. Look at 180lb Dempsey versus 250lb Willard. Look at Burns versus Johnson.
