It is good that he is still focused and believes, but he is not an endearing character

More power to your will fella.
It confirms my belief (sorry to use that term), that this guy is a real no.1 attention seeking controversy mongrel that has no real interest in anything but
HIMSELF.
If you want wider interest and boos during the ringwalk then you may have to produce a little more during a fight.
But for now, seek comfort in your newly acquired
beliefs and selfrighteous take on who you are, where you are and how it relates to the world in general and not on the negativity about your boxing performances. I'm no intellectual or unintellectual but the sun rises and falls but out of an arsehole a new story will never be told
PS I'd wish you luck and good wishes, but you do appear to be an arsehole with nothing new to say.

After seeing that are there still people giving Anthony Small the benefit of the doubt that he was not aware of the sensitivity surounding his ring walk "tune". Are there still people saying that with Small things are not planned?

He's a charatcer alright, and for me they are missing in the game.

He had a good point about the Amir ref, though.
If it had been Limond on one knee it would've been waved off.

The Small stoppage was fine. He could hardly walk straight afterwards.

Makes a good point about young prospects being scared to fight big names cos they get shellacked when they lose!!

Yes, and to be honest, he did very well. Pryce was a HUGE step up from what he was used to and he almost won the thing. This could be no worse than a learning experience for him, though.
But it's understandable people will gloat after he said things like "I'm ready to fight and beat Oscar De La Hoya" after defeating kevin Phelan!

Part of me thinks 'idiot' and part of me think 'you're ok' when watching that! Couldn't make my mind up which feeling was the overwhelming one!

when he was after the ref when it was stopped it reminded me of someone doing the macarena!!! he was all over the shop.
fair play for getting straight back into it, but putting things like that out are going to win him zero fans.

Small's a plonker
Mark Thompson took a bigger step up in class recently at short notice too, and aquitted himself better and certainly seemed to conduct himself a lot better.

I don't think Vincent Vuma is better than Bradley Pryce.

Yes, the Audley incident was disgusting. Fine, I can understand why people have grown to dislike him, but FFS the man was stone-cold unconscious and at the time for all we knew he might have been badly hurt - yet there were morons still booing him and even booing him when he came to, when there should have been a palpable sense of relief.

Didn't say Vuma was better than Pryce, but Thompson took a bigger jump up in competition from what he'd been used to than Small did.

That's right, Audley showed great dignity and care regarding Danny Williams' condition after he'd knocked the stuffing out of him

And since when do fighters "show care" to each other after a fight? In any case, Danny finished on his feet and there was ever any doubt about his condition.
Audley, on the other hand, was prostrate for several worrying minutes. In EVERY other occasion I have witnessed this, the crowd respectfully goes quiet and then applauds the boxer when he gets up. No matter your opinion on Audley, he didn't deserve the vitriole doused on him AFTER he was knocked out.
Re Vuma, yes I mis-read your point.

Since many occasions. Where have you been if you've NEVER witnessed care from one boxer to another ??? Making throat slitting gestures from him after reducing a fellow sportsman to the ground is a disgusting gesture. Don't expect to Audley to get any sympathy or respect when he doesn't deserve it.

I didn't say I'd NEVER witnessed it. I was as surprised as anybody to see Tyson, of all people, help Etienne to his feet. But it's not as if it's commonplace, and by not "showing care" to Danny Williams, Audley was no different to the great majority of boxers in the great majority of contests.

Yes, but Audley made his bed and so he has to lie in it. Harrison fuelled the reaction he got from the crowd. It had been a long time coming I think.

The thing that got me into Boxing(other than Honeygan-Curry) was the respect between fighters and from fighters to fans..this is sadly lacking with some pugilists..
If you go out of the way make yourself out to be a dickhead and public enemy No1 then dont be suprised when some impressionable people delight in your painful downfall

What exactly has Audley done to go "out of his way" to be a dickhead?
Sure, he's projected himself as cocky/confident, made a few outlandish predictions, he's had a few matches people didn't enjoy, and he's had a grudge against certain fighters who are more popular than himself. None of this is any different to numerous other fighters before and since.

If you don't get it by now, you never will.

My point is, sure he's made a few poor decisions and I can understand why this, coupled with a negative coverage by a press which seems to have an agenda, has led him becoming unpopular. But to say he's "gone out of his way" suggests he's become unpopular on purpose - which he hasn't.

His whole demeanour was that of a pratt..the 'I can win the British title after 5 fights', the Danny Williams Leach comments..
Even when he had his day in the sun post Williams 2 he pissed the world off by being so arrogant(his refusal to look at Rosenthal during the interview, stupid smarmy grins)
He made himself Public enemy No1 and though I would never scream abuse at someone who has been KO'd I can understand why some less cerebral fans harangued him

When I say gone out of the way it may well be pure publicity, create a 'bad guy' rep! For all I know hes a top lad....but the public dont see that, they see an overconfident burk getting KTFO and they delight in it
