Ayub may have been champ, but wasn't exactly dominant. And not Oscar, either. But Oscar is smaller than Ayub.........something's gotta give.

Kalule was a right-handed southpaw (sounds odd but hopefully you get what I mean) or was he a left-handed orthadox fighter??? Can't remember for sure. He had a strong controlling jab. DLH has more to his game but is the smaller man. I think DLH would win this one on a close but clear decision.

You were right the first time, he was right-handed but fought in a southpaw stance because that was the way he learned how to box from his naturally left-handed brother. Kalule was a big Jr.Middle and more of a natural Middle. At his peak, which was actually prior to his title win before the weight problems began, he would have eaten up DeLaHoya. This weight is too much for the very talented Oscar who belongs at Welter.

What's ringsider's take on phoney lefties? Are they part of the scum of the earth club? Or are they just clever right handed fighters with skill and a unique plan?

Kalule was a far superior technical fighter to Oscar even P4P.He just didn't hit hard at all and could be stopped.

Oscar didn't hit hard enough at 154 to bother him and would be very clearly outclassed.
