It's not over. Mutley is being schooled for the first 4 according to the RBR I am reading.

no rd 6 at the moment, lynes winning 5-0 or 4-1 if your generous to mutley. Mutley cant land his big punches and lynes is out boxing him.

Lynes won by KO. Definitely an improving fighter.

lynes won by stoppage i think it was the 8. landed a good punch to stop the contest.

Lynes really done a number on him, I think only a week out of the gym after the Morrison win done him the world of good.

Lynes was excellent tonight, can't fault his display at all. Mutley was never in it.

That's two resounding wins for titles whilst being the underdog.

Mutleys defense was wide open, his punches were wide and slow as mollasses. I've seen very little of Mutley before today so maybe he was weight drained at 140. Reminicent of Mayweather-Gatti or Calazage-Lacy but on a lower level.

Full credit to Lynes he was sharp, boxed beautifully, very compact punches that got there so much faster than Mutleys. Around round 3 I was thinking, Lynes could stop this guy because his punches get there so much quicker he could easily throw some serious combinations very flush and take Mutley out. He did just that at the end.

Lynes is a solid Euro level competitor at this point, and I'd say he has to have a good chance against Branco in what should be an entertaining fight. Don't think he'll make world level, but I expect he'd give a decent account of himself against someone like M'Baye.

No at his relatively open defense, lack of head movement and wide slow punching compared to Calazages fast compact punches.

impressed with Lynes....had a feeling Mutley would stand off like that, having said that, when he did show a little ambition he was getting caught and stunned.

Lynnes showed increased confidence, and instead just doing enough to win...he stepped it up and finished Mutley in style

As good as Lynes was....Mutley wasn't right...his timing was awful, he looked very tight...dunno if it was the occasion, Lynes tactics surprising him or making the 10st light-welter limit

Lynes will beat Branco no probs then him v Bami be good fight. He deserves a fight in front of his home crowd. He is fighting so well, dont foget he did give Witterr a hard fight. I would like to see him out in October keep the momentum going. He would beat Daws now imo.

Or maybe pick apart Torres if he still has the WBO belt in a few months time

lynes boxed well, i forecast the result spot on, and to be honest it was an easy one to predict. muttley is a one dimensional bomber, lynes is a solid technician (reminds me of a much smaller richie woodhall in terms of style and potential ability)
