I think Macarinelli has improved as well since Calzaghe took him on. His stamina was mightily impressive for a big lad on Saturday night.

Yup fair play, anyone who think's he isn't Britains top trainer can't deny he has a bloody good case....

What I also like is the unity from within the gym, Joe at ringside for all fights, Enzo and Gavin in the crowd chatting to fans at the 02 Arena - Gavin in Bradley Pryce's corner. Bradley at ringside on Saturday. Having that kind of atmosphere must work wonders too.

Did we not have a big debate about a year ago as to how good a trainer Enzo is? For me he seems to be the best in Britian and one of the top trainers in the world.

I'd love to see him work with Khan's fast hands.

He's done wonders with all four fighters, who all have different styles, different strengths, different divisions, different weaknesses.

He's a terrific trainer.

I'd say he was the number one trainer in Great Britain at the moment. The amount of champions he has in his gym speaks for itself.

He has a super prospect in Nathan Cleverley in his gym too. He is one to look out for. I saw him fight in Telford earlier on in his pro career, when he was at welterweight, and he looked good. Now his body is growing, he's only 20/21, and knocked out iron-chinned Ayittey Powers in seven rounds on Saturday.

And Enzo has trained his top fighters from schoolboy level...alot of so called great trainers jump on board when the boxer is almost at the top.

I think Enzo could do wonders with Khan...but Enzo wouldn`t put up with all the bullshit surrounding Khan so I guess that rules him out.

Enzo is right up there with Brendan Ingle as Britains best.

What do you reckon Enzo could do with Scott Gammer?

Enzo has no boxing backround at all.

And he wouldn't let Fraudley near the gym, Enzo is the boss man in the gym, and that is another reason his fighters are successful.

Fighters can't be the boss in the gym

Given what he's achieved and the circumstances in which he's achieved it, he has to be one of the top trainers in world boxing today.

Enzo seems to really work his fighters in training. Serious cardio work and concentration on fitness and stamina. Audley wouldn't last 5 minutes in those sessions. He doesn't do roadwork very well.

He looks like a fit bloke as well. Pre fight we saw Macca hitting the mitts. Calzaghe Sr was there with his shirt off fending off some heavy looking body shots with the mitts, if I remember properly. Looked like an absolute masochist.

He never fought am or pro, i believe he was a professional dancer by trade. Have to agree with everyone here, his record is second to none.

I believe he was a struggling musician when he arrived in UK !!

I got the Calzaghe book as a gift recently. Wouldn't have bought it myself but have started reading it and can confirm that his father was a musician, not a dancer. His Dad used to make him box the local boys in their local town in Sicilly when he was a young lad, and that seemed to be the extent of his experience. A very fit man though by the sounds of it, Joe says he didn't have a car for years and used to just run or walk to where he needed to go to.

Thel Torrence has failed to improve Audley one iota, Audley is the boss in that gym.
