Hatton Mayweather, or Calzaghe Kessler?

the latter for me, i think its more competetive.

Hatton-Mayweather by a long distance. For me, at least.

Yep, even as a welshman Hatton mayweather has the pulse racing that little bit more. I must say I think Calzaghe Kessler will be the better fight though.

Why choose?

Both great fights, 2 of the biggest (in British history) in modern times, perhaps of all time.

Hatton/Mayweather for me too.

But I must say, I'am fvcking delighted that both look to be happening

Calzaghe/Kessler has the styles to make a more exciting fight.
Mayweather/Hatton will probably be Floyd on his bike all night with Ricky chasing his around the ring.

Both are so intriguing but i would slightly slide for Calzaghe-Kessler. It's been a long time coming and i can't wait!!

Calzaghe v Kessler.

I'm excited about both though although I don't think Hatton or Kessler will be that competitive.

Both big but Ricky v Floyd is far bigger on the global stage.

Worrying thing is that British boxing's two biggest names could be beaten inside five weeks.

Exciting times, and great to see these and so many other top contests in America later this year.

Calzaghe-Kessler. Kessler is an excellent boxer without being boring. This fight will probably have more exciting exchanges. Kessler is a p4p talent in his prime. Calzaghe is the fastest paced fighter above the lightweight division.

If Floyd DOES have his way with Hatton, you know how it will go. Do bollocks all over the first four rounds apart from defend. Ease his way into the middle stages when Hatton gets frustrated. Take over the late rounds without doing anything reckless.

I believe Floyd is going to spend A LOT of time backed up and trying to look cool doing shoulder rolls while trying to find space for limitd offense.

Ricky is a level above the Corrales and Castillo and Jesus Chavez level fighters that Floyd got some of his best wins against.

I think I'd rather eat my own shite than sit through that rancid turd of a fight.

With reference to the thread, whilst in the grand scheme of things, Hatton v Mayweather is the better fight, Joe has a bloody good chance of securing his legacy, and it has the potential to be a cracking fight.

I can imagine Joe getting hit and hurt in this fight, but prevailing with workrate, guts and determination.

Mayweather, if he wins, will do it by picking and poking, jinking, jiving and skittering around the ring, the only potential excitment for me, is if Ricky Wins by late KO, overwhelming a tiring Mayweather.

A Hatton win would be surely the best pure result by a British fighter ever, given that Mayweather is still in his prime, has just come off a massive win, and will be well and truly prepared for the event?

Has to be Mayweather v Hatton. It's HUGE !

Both are truly great super fights, but Mayweather-Hatton takes the biscuit for me.

both are huge and great fights for Britain and for boxing.

i am slightly more excited about the Hatton fight as Mayweather is top pound for pound out of all the fighters in the world so for Hatton to beat him which i think he can will be absolutely huge and an amazing night over in Vegas.

Hatton-Mayweather for me, although Calzaghe-Kessler is a great match up.

Both humungous fight, but with Mayweather being P4P #1 it has to be the Hatton fight for me.

Hatton vs Mayweather is a true Super Fight, up there with any of them. Even though personally I think Calzaghe vs Kessler is harder to call - I don't see it as a TRUE Super Fight. There is no debating if Hatton vs Mayweather is or not.

Agreed. I think Kessler has a better chance of beating Calzaghe than Hatton does of beating Mayweather, so I think it'll be a better fight.

Interestingly Jeff Lacy picks Kessler but then again it may be sour grapes considering Calzaghe slapped the tar out of Lacy. Similar to how Robin Reid picked Lacy to beat Calzaghe...it's a merry-go-round.

Hatton-Mayweather for me and, win or lose, Ricky WILL be competitive in this fight. Looking foward to Calzaghe-Kessler as well. Kessler's in his prime, Joe could be past his and his last couple of fights haven't been good preparation for this one.

For me Hatton-Mayweather is the bigger fight of the two, whereas Calzaghe-Kessler will be the more exciting fight. Unless Ricky can pull off a big upset

The Obvious bout should be Hatton - Mayweather but id say the best fight will be Calzaghe - Kessler
