I don't think Billy would be too keen on the idea...

It would probably answer some questions. I have heard that they really tear into each other in sparing sessions. Then again, they probably would know each other's styles backwards. This could make it interesting from purist's outlook, but dull to the general viewing public.

Look for Vic's return fight in Oct Sydney to be against filipino fall guy Federico Catubay.

Navarro & Kirilov are fighting for the vacant IBF super fly title on the Ibragimov/Holyfield card. Is it possible Vic may challenge the winner of this?

There are not that many gyms catering to profesional boxers. Vic and Hussy have different managers. On most programs you will see fighters from the same gym fighting each other.

Yeah but not usually with the same trainer... especially if that trainer happens to be the brother of one of the fighters...

Does no one else think this would end badly if it happened?

Muhammad Ali fought Jimmy Ellis. Both were trained by Angelo Dundee, Dundee was in Ellis's corner on the night. Bernie Hall's fighters regularly fought each other in the '70s and '80s. Same with Ernie McQuillan's fighters. There is not that big a pool of fighters.

If you want to make a living from boxing you have to fight whoever is available at your weight.
