Good list - But surely it's time to lose Scott Harrison - he's not fought since November 2005 and I don't think anyone really thinks he's gonna fight again.
I'd probably have Ian Napa at No 30 in recognition of his recent victory.

I will review it, after he has been inactive for two years.
Does anyone have any news regarding Harrison?

It was a good victory for Napa, but I didn't think it was enough to earn him a top 30 place, considering Napa's recent losses and Booth's inactivity. If he can defend his title against Haskins then there is a good chance he will enter.

Rees is way too high there. And I agree Harrison shouldn't be there at all.

Ree's has done more than the ones below though to warrant the P4p ranking.
McCullough's been Inactive for more than 2 years so will you review that Horse?
shouldn't Damaen Kelly be out since he's retired?

Rees got lucky facing an abysmal world champion, does that make him pound for pound better than those below him - Froch for example? I really don't think so.

To be fair Rees is unbeaten himself, I'd rather wait an see just what his limit is. But Froch is a better fighter it would seem.

Being unbeaten against the talent Rees has fought isn't saying much. He was still fighting "give you rounds" guys up until his title victory. Froch and probably Moore should be ahead of him.

Don't we go off achievements though? Froch hasn't even touched the Euro title.

Fair enough, he's hardly been a hype job though, I just want to see him in with some more quality opponents before deciding where his place lies.

He is the WBA champion with a win over a top 5 opponent, which are bigger achievements than most others on the list. I thought I was being quite reasonable putting him in at number 9, not too high and not too low.

Froch hasn't proven that much, I hardly think it is madness to put a "Lucky" World champion above a very good British and Commonwealth champion.

Harrison above Haye? And even Rees! At least Rees is a champ now...

I think P4P lists are more interesting when they're how good the fighter is, not what they've done.
Like you have Sprott, but not Khan, when it's very obvious Khan is better P4P, maybe not best example as Khan was exposed in last fight, but you get it.

McCullough's position is under constant review, Max.
Twisted Transistor wrote:shouldn't Damaen Kelly be out since he's retired?
Well, a lot of fighters say they are retired and then make a relatively quick comeback, so I have decided to wait a while when someone says they have retired before I take them off.

Both Haye and Rees will go above Harrison if they win their next matches.
Harrison should become easier to overtake the further down the list he falls, if that makes anyone feel any better.

Nice to see Lynes getting some props for two MASSIVE wins recently.

I'm not sure. Sprott is a lot more experienced and has done well against some decent opposition. How would Khan cope with similar opposition at this stage of his career? I don't know.
That is why I prefer accomplishments to ability when ranking fighters.

Harrison should have been off the list age's ago and hasn't Damaen Kelly retired? He hasn't fought in awhile I know that. he shouldn't be on the list. Same goes for McCullough.

I did move him down two places this Month so stop breaking my balls.

Yes it is.
oscar wrote:

Bami is still rated higher than Lynes as I thought that climbing 10 places for beating Mutley was enough, and stopping him below the former European champion seemed like a good idea.
Lynes has a lot of interesting fights available to him now, so I am sure he will get the opportunity to rise up the rankings soon.

Harrison was still the WBO champion until November last year (I think), so I don't think that taking him off ages ago would have been reasonable. Yes, Kelly retired but I want to leave him in for a while in case he changes his mind. McCullough intends to continue so I will leave him in for now.
Also if I took these guys out then I would have to replace them, and their replacements would be of lesser quality, and I would like to keep the quality standard up if possible.

Gavin Rees is above Carl Froch on what basis?
