Monty Betham extended his record to 5-0-0 last night. Hats off to James Chan for putting up a solid performance and pushing Monty hard every round, I had Chan winning rounds 3 & 4 with monty taking the rest with cleaner landing shots!
Just the sort of fight Monty needed certainly answered alot of questions, he showed he can turn up with the pressure is turned on and Chan provided that pressure. He remained in control throughout and never panicked. He still looks green but thats to be expected. He hopes to fight again in September!
Steve Heremaia once again confirmed hes a hot prospect by brutally knocking Jaime Waru out in the 2nd round. Waru had his moments landing some clean shots that caught the attention of Heremaia but Heremaia's hand speed and power has Warus downfall
