I heard a rumor that Monty Betham might be fighting on the Ibragimov Holyfield undercard in Moscow...
Anyone else heard anything?

So far there are only two fights on that card. Ibragimov/Holyfield and Navarro/Kirilov. With two months to go they will add more. It would probably be a four or six rounder if Betham gets a fight.

From the Herald:
Meanwhile, former Warriors captain Monty Betham may fight on the undercard of Evander Holyfield's attempt to claim a fifth world heavyweight title in Moscow on October 13 after winning a unanimous points decision over James Chan last Friday night.
Betham turned in the most impressive performance of his five-bout career since quitting league to beat the experienced Queensland cruiserweight, and has been sounded out about fighting on the Holyfield-Sultan Ibragimov card along with fellow unbeaten Kiwi cruiserweight Mohammed Azzaoui.
Betham's next fight is scheduled for September 14 at Auckland's Sky City Casino and will again feature controversial 2004 New Zealand Olympian Soulan Pownceby, who won his first professional bout with a first-round KO.

The Ibragimov/Holyfield card has Russian Cruiserweight Vadim Tokarev down to fight good old "TBA". As Tokarev is 23-1 (18KOs) and his last fight was losing a majority decision to Huck in an IBF elimination fight, as well as his having a top ten rating, I somehow doubt they will be throwing Monty to him.

Oh well, it was just something I heard along the grapevine...
I thought I was in with a shot after the article in the Herald

There is still plenty of room on the card. Maybe they are still sorting out the visas.

Still nothing. Monty seems to have an empty dance card for now.

Monty is now on the card. He is fighting a four rounder against Milton Rodriguez, a Nicaraguan who has a 1-3 record. He won his first fight by KO & was KOed in the three following fight.
I suppose that is a 100% record of some kind.
