Anyone heard anything more about this, or when it'll be officially announced? There's still no confirmation from GBP that it's the Garden Arena yet, and Thomas & Mack is out as they already have something on that day.

Just checked the Garden Arena website and they have the Spice Girls playing that day, so it won't be there.

Its looking very much like the MGM then, but I'd like official confirmation before booking up as I don't like relying on The Sun for obvious reasons.

I'd be his biggest fan if he really did

As for the thread title...No its a different type of fight. But Hatton is stepping up to fight the best elite fighter in his prime around his weight division just as Hamed was. So in that sense Ricky may come a cropper and get a boxing lesson just like Hamed did

EDIT: oops mixed it up with the Hamed-Barrera comparison thread

Bet you're sweating in case you have to choose one over the other. The only grown man I know that is a fully paid up member of the Spice Girls fan club!

The fact that you have a Facebook garden, and know the difference between a gerbura and a rose, plus you have Atomic Kitten and Girls Aloud on your iPod, makes you unable to comment. Whereas I wouldn't pss on the Spice Girls if they were on fire!

I've just read on another forum that a poster was reading the Mail On Sunday and it said that the fight may be in LA and that Golden Boy are in talks with the Staples Centre

Vegas is about 250 miles from LA.

It'll be Vegas alright, can't see the casino's passing up the chance to fleece all the Hatton fans!
