Ayala would cut Mayorga to pieces. Ricardo is smaller and simply cannot outduel Tony. El Matador is in way over his head against this baby bull.

Yeah, this would've been a slaughter.
The only hope that Mayorga would have for a win would be for the ref or the commission to reverse the KO win for Ayala to a DQ because he continued the beating after the stoppage.
Remember how he spit on the prone form of ( I think it was ) Jose Baquadano after he KO'd him & continued smacking Robbie Epps after the ref waved the fight off? Those were guys that he just didn't like. Imagine what he'd have done to someone who REALLY pissed him off like Mayorga?!!

I agree with everyone in here. Tony Ayala, Jr. at that time of his short prime was not at his very best yet, but still, too good enough to destroy Mayorga in 5 rounds.
