Maybe he is of the recent past, but what happened to Gurcharan Singh? He was undefeated, only about 27, but he stopped fighting about 3 years ago? I saw him on TV a couple of times and he looked to have potential. His Olympic credentials didn't hurt either. I searched the internet with no luck finding recent news.

He was going to fight on a British bill either late last year or early this year, but the promotion fell through and nothing more was heard from "Guru". But presumably this suggests he is at least looking into fighting again. I'd be interested to see if he does - not many Indian boxers about.
