Best one i've seen is Chris Burton. I was very, very impressed with him when he dismantled Paul Butlin in Wolverhampton before Christmas. Butlin was decked twice and stopped in four.

Burton seems to have a lot going for him, and owns very quick hands for a heavyweight. I'd tip him to have a reign as British champion in the next five years or so.

Probably none of them the way boxing is going.... they will all win and vacte the WBU, WBS, WBZ titles then retire undefeated, with a record of 99-0-0 (80) against their own nans.... FW who at some point has taken over all of them will proclaim anyone who does not recognise these great achievements as 'an idiot'

Not seen many of them close up but have seen most of Chris Burton's fight. Nice boxer but I do worry about his ability to hold a shot.

All I can repeat is that Dolan has no future as a heavy.

Why do you say that Ian out of Interest. I've not really followed Dolan, he's slipped off of my radar a bit.

I think you may be right, Ian. Against Butlin, who isn't regarded as much of a puncher, Chris's legs were stiffened in both the first and second rounds before Paul run out of steam.

I also think that ‘Stevie’ Kecskes had him down, or at least rocked him.

He's quite small for one of the big lads these days and I feel he might be able to make cruiser at a push.

But the main thing is...and I really don't say this very often as I don't like to...he's just not much cop.

He was entertaining to watch as an am but he wont be a pro heavy - too small for that.

Could make a good class cruiser/light heavy

Danny McAlinden looks like Joe Louis compared to this lot. At least Danny had a go.

Dolan missed the boat for me.
I think he should have turned over after winning gold at the commonwealths's 4 years ago.

He certainly should'nt be a heavy either!!
Cruiserweight is where he should be plying his trade.

Bellew will be fighting at light heavy as a pro.
He can bang, but I don't think he will rip up any trees.Seem's a really nice fella, and I hope he does well.

The rest....nothing beyond domestic level I'am afraid.
The next decent British heavyweight(bar David Haye of course), who could make a noise on the euro(and dare I say it,World)scene is David Price.
Although, I think he will be vulnerable as a pro at at a higher level.
Will certainly dominate any of the guys on that list though when he turns over.
I have no doubt he would'nt dominate any of them right now.

He signed for Warren and will be a light heavyweight trained by Anthony Farnell I think.

so we can expect Bellew in the heavies in about 4 years time ?
