I'd like to see him and Hunter, good fight that one. Although presumably Frank is thinking along the lines of Cook V Foster, Morris or Matthews.

Will we see Cook return at 130? He looked terrible at the weigh in for his last fight. Obviously he was outclassed, but that didn't look like the Cook of previous fights in there to me. I am not saying he would have won without the weight trouble but he was never in it from the get go and had absolutely no snap in his work.

I always said Cook shouldn't go for a world title before he's cleareed up the UK. Jackson Asiku would have bashed him up. I said that months back and I say it now.

Well I hope he is moving up in weight because I don't think he has a lot to offer continuing at featherweight.

He looked terrible.

Agree with that, Cook usually has a good sharp jab, but it looked like he was pushing out his shots in the last fight.

Nice to see him get back in the ring again, no sitting around feeling sorry for himself. I would think this next fight will be a nice couple of rounds to get some confidence back into himself.
If he moves up to 130 i wouldn't mind seeing him take on Kevin Mitchell

He turned pro at super-feather and won an inter belt there, so makes sense for him to move back up now he's finished growing.

Can't see him in with Mitchell, isn't Mitchell trained by Cook's Dad? At the last fight Mitchell came to the ring with Cook, with a Team Cook jacket on.

I can see a fight with 'dirty' Derry being made in the next 12-18 months - Seems an easy enough match to make.

Heard Asiku was now going to box up at super feather, maybe Cook v Asiku for some sort of title?

I think its probably a combination of weight draining and overtraining to get to 126 - he looked near death on the scales. I really hope he doesn't continue at 126.

Don't think they are married but going out? Heard this from some old boys over in Dublin when I was watching the amateurs.

Well doesn't look like i'll see Cook v Mitchell any time soon. Unless Cook snr and Ms Mitchell split, :TU:

How good would that be? Cook Snr in his sons corner. Ma Mitchell in hers. Each fighting for their familes pride and honour. Great scrap.

Cookie had a rare ding dong with an African Super-Bantam on Harrison v Calloway undercard.

So not sure how much whack he really carries despite widely considered a 'big' FEATHERWEIGHT.

I'd say he has a good whack at British level, but just average power at a higher level

As anyone heard anything from the Cook camp regarding the Luevano fight.

As said above he looked very frail, tentative and appeared to have had severe trouble making the weight that night.

Exactly. He'd bash the living daylights out of Johanneson.

Has actually anyone seen Luevano fight before he beat Cook? Just wondered if he was an rare gem that nobody has ever heard of or Cook was just very bad on the night?

Often wondered after the fight what Scott Harrison would have done to him if they actually fought even with his far from ideal preparation.
