yeah I read this and wasn't sure what to think. IF Billy gets this fight it could be a tough night for him... Linares looked pretty good in dispatching Larios. I hope Sugar Shane knows what he is doing... this would be a HUGE step up for Billy.

To be a champion you have to beat a champion. If Dib wants to be world champion he is going to have to be prepared to grab the brass ring. So far he has not lost a fight, he has to keep winning.

Nobody said it was going to be easy, it never is, but it is better to take a chance if you think you are good enough than to stand back and wonder what might have been.

Mosley and De La Hoya have promised Dib the November world title fight against Linares if he beats Escobedo.
His brother and manager Emaid, who runs Australia’s leading BMW dealership, said: Billy will be sparring Shane Mosley every day in preparation for the September 15 fight and provided he wins he'll train with Shane in the mountains at Big Bear, California for the November 10 bout at Madison Square Garden.
Dib said to win the WBC title would be a special honour since it was previously held by his friend and boxing hero, Jeff Fenech.Dont know if its fake or not some 1 call Emaid dib lol?

Just saw this story on Dib.

Interesting. Hope he goes all the way. Would love to see him fight Jackson Asiku

Jackson Asiku is a class fight, i think hes been under-rated alot and would like to see him do well for himself, As for Dib hes got alot going for him and has the right contacts to get him to the top - Hope he does well.

I just heard via golden boy promotions that the proposed card next week has been postponed and Billy's fight is officially off.

I think its dissapointing that the kid has trained his arse off for this fight only for it to be cancelled a week out.
