If someone has got an old sky box and plugged it into ther satallite plug in the flat , and with a sky card can receive SKY sports for free, is there anyway of sky being able to track the signal to their address?
this person has never used or subscribed to SKY before, so there would be no record of there details at SKY.

also the sky card is not registered in their name

As long as they haven't got your name in relation to the address you are safe.

If they come knocking, don't let them in!

The odds of them tracking it and finding you are very slim. Enjoy it whilst it lasts.

I have had a chipped box for about 10 years never had any problems!
