Am I right in ym thinking that Amateurs and pro's cant train in the same gym at the same time?

Anyone know where I can find the ruling on this? A link would be useful as Ive checked the BBBOC web site and couldnt see it.

Its the amatuers you have to look for it in the pros dont have a problem.

I think its only in the US tho, am I right?

Don't some of the Ingle pros train at the same time with the Ingle amatuers?

Is It true that their amatuers are restricted to certain championships/levels because the ABA have issues with Brendon?

spoke to my kids coach tonight it is not agianst amatuer or pro rules for both to train at the same time in a training session, but a lot of clubs prefer different training sessions due to the amatuers being distracted watching the pros train, also the press hanging round clubs for a photo of certian pros, can cause amatuer training to be cancelled, it happened at newbridge, newbridge abc is now pro only.

Lol Newbridge ABC is now PRO only?
In england its not allowed for an amatuer trainer to have any kind of pro license or for a pro trainer to go any where near an amatuer corner.

Here in Chicago ams and pros shared the same gym.
Although some of the gyms werent wild about pros stoppin in.

let me rephrase that, even though newbridge was also newbridge abc training was pro had there trainers amatuers had theres, even though newbridge is still up as newbridge abc on the W.A.B.A

it no longer coaches amatuers, a new club was set up by vince cleverly and his right hand man alan davies church place abc bargoed, the club is new but has the evans brothers and some amatuers that have chance of becoming good boxers, http://churchplaceabc.tripod.com/
the club has so far 1 silver in the GB which was craig evans, those that have heard of rhys evans hes been with the same trainers for along time, his profile is, at 14 years old 24-1 4 welsh 2 GB and many other medals his brothers profile im not sure of but is just as good, and 1 win ireland v wales rhys evans, its a good club, great trainers, like i said its a new club the season starts soon so hopefully will produce some good boxers, the social club its in actually produced some top boxers in the past, the future of the club looks promising.

i think the problem with the amatuer boxing in britain is that they dont like to be told how to do something the correct way when i used to train i see a lot of mums and dads getting too involved by becoming judges/trainers and then all of a sudden they were experts then if a pro came to see the kids and showed them one or two things like slipping punches instead of jumping in and out they would slag them off and say things like what does he know then you get to the people who run the ABA and they are old geezers who wont move with the times and only pick fighters from certan clubs ?? thats why your getting fighters turning pro at 18;19 years old instead of molding them in to good fighters to win medals at big comps around the world i think they are worried that they will get shown up if they let the pro,s help out

I thought the infamous Chris Aston used to train both Ams and Pros, don't know if he was in the corner for amateur bouts though

I heard this also by a lot of people, Pros not being allowed in the corner for AM fights and also AMs being freaked training with Pros...
