Your not wrong about Zappa v Langham. Its about bloody time two local boys with talent went head to head. I dont know what the result is going to be but judging from the past few times Ive seen these two go around its going to be a ripper

Sounds like a Great night.
The only thing I ask is when Vic kos this bloke he doesn't start crapping on about being Number 1. Two time, two time like bloody Mundine.
this is a stepping stone to getting the real world title and should be treated as such.

Honestly this seems like the standard Australian card... Decent fighters on display but we know who will win.
I will probably go anyway but I won't expect a great spectacle...

I was just told this card was going to be on FOX.
Could this be true even though the card is on a Saturday.
If it is true it will be great for Australian Boxing having a great fight card on a Saturday night. I think the world cup rugby, English Premeir league soccer, NBL and A League soccer are on also.
Good Work FOX - for them to push aside these other big sports and putting our aussie boxing talent in the limelight is long overdue!
Its also good to see our australian promoters, putting on a great card and making it more accessible for people to watch boxing without going the Pay Per View route.
Well Done!!!

Go Vic GO !
I have been reading on Boxrec's current scene forum how many people have written Vic off. I just watched Arce v Rojas. He was getting bashed for five rounds and landed a good punch in the sixth for the KO. People need to remember Vic contributed to his loss and will avenge his loss, it is just incredible how many wankers can jump on someone because they have lost a fight. he will come back better than ever.
check out arce on this link and then let me know how he would be with a few straight lefts and hooks to the head from Vic. He wouldnt be standing for too long!

Probably why he ducked Vic for so long. It is a pity that now Vic has also lost a bit of his aura. It could have been a huge fight a couple of years back...

Arce is a bantamweight now. Somehow I think Vic is going to do better at superfly. 8 stone must be a bastard to make.

I saw Vic running the bay at five dock , I dont know if my eyes are playing tricks on me but he either ate a body builder or the move up to superfly is doing the trick , he was muscled up hard. I think the loss might be a blessing in disguise.
If Billy Hussein reads this , is Vic fitter and more determined than previous preparations.?[/img]

Sounds good. I'm sure Vic has got the frame to cope with a bit more weight...maybe even more down the track.

I was just reading on the Philboxing site how Catubay has warned Darchinyan not to run from him, I think this dude is CRAZY to start getting Vic wound up and wave a big red flag infront of a RAGING BULL.

I don't think Vic needed any more reason to KO this bloke...
